The Ancient Order of Hibernians was organized in America in 1836, at St. James Church in New York City.  Through the years the Ancient Order of Hibernians has become one of the largest and most influential body of men with Irish lineage in the world.  The Greenville Chapter was formed in June of 1998 to further understand and share Irish History as well as support local charities.

The primary purposes of the organization are:

1.    To promote Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity

2.    To foster and sustain loyalty to the United States and our communities

3.    To aid and advance by all legitimate means, the aspirations and endeavors of the                   Irish people to complete and absolute independence.

4.    To foster the ideals and perpetuate the history and traditions of the Irish people in the United States

With these goals in mind, we request your participation and support of the Irish Community in Greenville through monetary and personal participation to advance this year's successful humanitarian effort in providing for the above-listed charities.  We thank you for your generosity.
